The Magic Garden & the adventure of self-discovery

The Magic Garden is a multidimensional artistic concept manifesting the emerging paradigm. It consist of 1) A physical place - The Magic Garden,  2) a music cosmology - The LilaRose Odyssey, 3) Book - Land of the Nocturnal Butterfly - an inner journey.

Jacob Moth & Ecaterina are the main creators of The Magic Garden. They are musicians, composers, facilitators and throughout their entire life dedicated psychonauts.

In the age 17 Jacob had a shamanic initiatory crises which triggered a deep and powerful inner journey, an adventure of self-discovery. For many years he used the technologies of the sacred - psychedelic substances - in safe environments with experienced sitters. This journey is described in his autobiographical travelogue Land of the Nocturnal Butterfly, which has preface by Stanislav Grof. After 11 intensive years his quest culminated in a life changing experience.

During a powerful shamanic psychedelic ritual Jacob suddenly found himself catapulted out among the stars, galaxies, black and white holes, and there he was contacted by a spiritual being - Goan-Quzook - who transmitted detailed information about how to build The Magic Garden, as a cosmic space station, a modern Grail castle, a modern temple, a place which connects the various levels of reality.

The physical place The Magic Garden consists of eco systems intertwined with creative building constructions - towers, subterranean meditation chamber, a death-rebirth tunnel, footbridges in the trees, outdoor stage, a Roundhall with state of the art audio-visual equipment and more.

Sculptures and art express a broad and rich symbolism including tarot, astrology, mythology and spirituality from all over the world.

We are endeavouring to manifest a complete micro-cosmos which integrates and includes humanity’s total pool of experience. The whole spectrum from quantum physics to spirituality and mysticism. Thereby The Magic Garden is also a cartography of the psyche - a mythological landscape.

Jacob Moth was born 1967 in Denmark.
He is a professional musician and composer. He has been playing with well known danish band Savage Rose and had big success in Asia with his band BL!NK. He has composed for film, TV and documentary.
He has studied and practised yoga, mediation, shamanism and experienced orientated psychotherapy with and without psychedelics for more than three decades.
He has written an autobiographical travelogue - Land of the Nocturnal Butterfly - an inner journey - which has preface by Stanislav Grof.
Jacob met Ecaterina on a jam session in 1999. Their love and their music gave them strength to believe in and manifest Jacobs vision.
Together they created The Magic Garden.
With their band LilaRose they have worked with producer Gary Wallis - who has been drummer in Pink Floyd.
Their mission is to support people on their adventure of self-discovery. They conduct plant ceremonies and use their music as a vehicle in journeys in consciousness.
Jacob designed a 19 string butterfly guitar with built in light show and electric violin bow as his shamanic wand.
